It makes me extremely happy when I go to shows and see such young kids interested in music that is not of the “norm”. I went to Houston for a Joyce Manor show, (needed to get out of town for a bit), and I was amazed at the amount of young kids that came to this show despite a school night or whatever. Joyce Manor is a great band that a lot of kids relate to and I was pleased to see people there generally interested in music. What gets me every time is the energy of all these young people chanting to lyrics that mean so much to themselves and the band.
